Albany International Corp. of Rochester, N.H., announced Friday it will discontinue manufacturing at its forming fabric facility in Menasha, resulting in 48 job cuts. And just think, we're paying higher taxes to lose all these jobs.
"We had too much capacity for the demand in the market," said Susan Siegel, company spokeswoman.
The plant at 435 Sixth St. makes forming fabrics, which are used in machines that make paper.
Plain and simple, Scott Walker's got to go!
