Who Says It Was A Staffer?

Dan Bice of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has a little piffle piece about a press release issued by Scott Walker's office in which the town of Delavan is misspelled.  Delavan is the town where Walker grew up, at least physically. (Many believe he never grew up emotionally.)

This raises three points/questions for me:

  1. Walker's hometown, where he is originally from, is Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Both Walker's office and Bice missed that fact.
  2. Either way, is this really worthy of a news item?
  3. Who says that it was one of his staffers that wrote the release?  Walker is not exactly considered to be a master speller himself.
