Or more accurately, how many things can you find wrong in this picture?
Answers, as they come in from the comments:
1) Walker's using a spinning reel, which should be on the bottom of the rod.
2) There's no line on that rod.
3) Walker's not wearing a life preserver.
4) He's not using a proper seat.
Bonus answers:
5) He's in a boat two feet from shore.
6) There are no protesters.
7) The lake isn't a funny color from the pollutants he's allowed companies to dump in it.

Looks like the lying weasel is using a spinning reel, which, normally, hangs on the underside of the rod.
ReplyDeleteThat's one.
DeleteMaster baiter.............And in my next job as License plate maker...............
DeleteHard to tell, but it doesn't look like he has a line in the water.
ReplyDeleteYou can clearly see the line along the rod/off the reel on the person to his left, but it doesn't appear that he has line coming off his reel.
That's two. (I blew up the picture and there's no line on that pole that I could see.)
DeleteThere are at least two more.
ReplyDeleteThere's no beer! I don't care what time of the day it is, Opening Day fishing and brewskis go hand in hand. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Well, while that is true, that's not what I'm thinking of.
DeleteNot wearing a life jacket
ReplyDeleteThat's three.
DeleteThe fact that that man exists.
ReplyDeleteDiane Hendricks isn't holding his brown bag.
ReplyDeletethats opposite...he does her bidding, not the other way around!
DeleteThere's no protesters in sight?
ReplyDeleteActually, if I recall correctly, protesters DID show up that day, and wider-angle photos show them in several boats surrounding Walker -- who seemed curiously bereft of his usual security detail.
DeleteOops, sorry, the protesters showed up for the 2011 "opener." This time around, they more than likely were making phone calls or knocking on doors for the June 5 recall election.
DeleteWhat do you need camo for when you're in a boat? I guarantee you Walker does not own that jacket. Poser.
ReplyDeleteFishing without a hat?
ReplyDeleteFishing without polarized sunglasses?
Hard to see the fish, but if there is no line to catch the fish, then maybe it doesn't matter.
Things he did right include he's in a bASS boat.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like he's sh*ttin' his drawers after getting pwned by Tom B. on Friday night
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the edge of the seat stance? That doesn't look comfortable.
DeletePoor grip on that rod. Looks like he's holding it like a golf club. Should be one hand on the reel and/or one hand on the beer. Hard to tell from this picture, but is there a tackle box withing his reach? Maybe the guide puts the worm on the hook for him.
ReplyDeleteHe is not fishing in Wisconsin?
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with that picture is that Perp Walker is in it.
ReplyDelete(Okay, also, the pasty-faced non-outdoorsman is wearing camo . . . when Perp Walker ought to be wearing an orange jumpsuit.)
His feet are set flat. photoshop? Palli
ReplyDeletefeet are flat on nothing Palli
ReplyDeleteTrue enough. I thought there was something odd about it. The feet aren't in the bottom of the boat!
DeleteOn a related note, there better be someone balancing that boat on the other side, cause Scotty's sure leaning to his side without regard to what might happen (just like his politics, I guess). One wrong turn once he gets a bite, and that thing's rocking and maybe going over!
ReplyDeleteNo bald spot
ReplyDeleteDo people usually use a boat to fish that close to shore?
ReplyDeletedoes stupidity run in your family or you the only surviving child
DeleteI don't believe that person is related to you, so your statement is false.
DeleteAll three look to be fishing out of the same side of the boat for the photo op
ReplyDeleteI know you'all are having fun but the link below shows a video that includes the snapshot shown. The video shows string and the open-face reel in the correct position while fishing.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.wdio.com/article/stories/s2608170.shtml
I still don't see a string, plus there are other videos which show him holding the spinning reel upside down - http://www.northlandsnewscenter.com/news/nw-wisconsin/Gov-Walker-Head-to-Trego-for-Governor-Fishing-Opener-150316665.html
DeleteOK, I watched the video, and let me just say: that is a luxury boat with a skipper's engine console, upholstered seats that swivel and what looks like wall to wall skid proof carpeting.
DeleteIf this is fishing now, why did he bother to take off the suit and tie? Palli
So when he's casting in front of 2 in the boat and a TV camera, he's faking it or you can't see a string. I vote you can't see the string.
DeleteAnd yes, while talking for about 3 seconds the reel is on top. You got him. That's all the reason you need to condemn him. Kinda like holding a golf club by the shaft while talking--do it all the time.
I suddenly realize how stupid all this sounds and we're discussing it. I'm going back to the site where we're accused of being predictably disingenuous. At least we're not petty.
randy4sam, at the end of your video watch how Mr Walker handles the rod when he is on the dock. If there was a line on there, it sure seems as if his fingers can move right through it.
DeleteAlso, when you are on a boat it is called a line - not a string.
no union things in the background yelling and screaming
ReplyDeleteLooks like I see within this lake picture a slimy, bottom feeding, scum sucker and the other thing I see is a fish.
ReplyDeleteI think thats Orville Symere
DeleteIt was a photo opportunity to increase his support.
ReplyDeleteAnd what sucks is that is worked, seriously.
I've got co-workers and neighbors who just stated to me that they kind of like the guy, because he's "an outdoor guy, like me."
In Cuba City, Mr. Walker just pulled another "I'm a farmer, just like you," campaign appearance.
Hay bales and all. What sucks, is that it seems to be working on the farmers.
And here I thought farms were pretty well off on subsidies and state aids.
?
Is that how you hope to buy their votes with subsidies and state aid?
DeleteMy brother in law is a farmer in Illinois, he tells me you either farm the land, or you farm the government. Both pay about the same.
I would be willing to bet that he does not have a fishing license...remember when his appointee to the DNR Stepp said she had hunted every year....yet she did not have a license for the last 9 years...
