Which Walker Will Meet Obama?

On Wednesday, when President Obama comes to Milwaukee to praise Master Lock for recognizing the quality products produced by their American union workers, Scott Walker plans on getting some face time.

My question is this: Which Walker will show up?

If Walker is smart, he could use the opportunity to learn something about job creation, an area which Obama is doing well and Walker is failing miserably at doing.

But no one has ever accused Walker of being smart, so I wouldn't be surprised if Walker tries to embarrass us all by pulling a Jan Brewer, just to look good to his base in preparation to the upcoming recall.

  1. He'll point his finger and say, "I told you I don't want any of that federal money, even if it does create jobs". Obama can be heard saying, as he walks away,"What a dumbass".

  2. Or he could teach him how to run up 4 trillion in debt and have the unemployment rate go up since he's taken office. Maybe he can teach him how to do things like they do in chicago: http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/02/14/chicago-called-most-corrupt-city-in-nation/

    1. Y'know, if you were paying attention to something besides talk radio, you would have been aware that the rest of the country has been gaining jobs for each of the past six months while Walker has been chasing them away at twice the rate we lost them during the height of the recession.

You would have also known that Walker's structural deficit is bigger than the one he inherited.

And some time, you really should read up on the John Doe into Walker and his campaign. Perhaps while he is town, Walker can finally meet with the DA instead of running away from Wisconsin.

    2. you're tag is perfect! while I disagree with much of Obama's catering to the right, only an idiot blinded by racism could possibly think that the debt ran up had much to do with Obama. What about that white guy who was President for the first eight years of the past decade?

    3. Thanks Jeremiah, now I dont have to research job gains and losses in other states to
refute cap. I can just follow your anti racist lead and just blame the guy before Walker for the jobs lost as well as any other knocks you can dream up. Its all the bald white guys fault. Maybe my racism is against white democrats. Ever think of that?

And cap, when Walker isnt convicted of any crimes you will admit you were wrong on your blog here?

    4. Someone's is sounding a bit defensive today. Even conservative pundits are saying that Walker is John Doe. Are you going to attack them too?

  3. IMBR - Maybe you just turned 18. But if not, how many times did you vote for George W. Bush? You know, The Decider, who had maybe something to do with that debt that Obama has "run up." Think about W's two wars, huge tax cuts, and the unfunded Medicare Plan D drug benefit. Not to mention the unregulated casino that was our "economy" under Bush.

    1. Copy my reply above. But since you dont want to jump right to personal attacks I will add a bit more. Its true Obama didnt inherit a rose garden. And I could cut him some slack on his many campaign promises he didnt live up to, but it would seem his agenda has been more important than getting the economy back to the point where companies might want to speculate enough to add employees. Obamacare, and his energy policy alone are enough to convince me he doesnt care about jobs. He mentioned master lock in his state of the union and they only brought 100 jobs back from oversees? Sounds like he is grasping at straws.

    2. Scott Walker should be thrilled with the "straws" of 100 jobs, aina?

Adding jobs isn't speculative. Companies won't add jobs until they know there is sufficient demand for their products, which is what the stimulus (including the huge tax cut that was part of it) was designed to, well, stimulate. The fact that the stimulus was too small is an Obama fail. Hope he doesn't screw that up again, and his 2013 budget suggests he learned from his mistake.

    3. While you are correct, a company will still hesitate to hire even if demand is up. If they feel rising gas prices, financial impact of obamacare looming, or rising unemployment rates will force them to downsize yet again.
I havent had a chance to review his budget, but from what I hear it would never make it through congress without major modifications anyway. I think the problem with the stimulus is that way too much ended up bailing out state and local governments which didnt result in any new jobs. Its wrong to even call most of it stimulus. I wont even start on green energy.

  6. The reoprt on how corrupt Obama's stomping grounds didn't come from talk radio. After 3 out of 4 Illinois governors who know the inside of a jail cell are democrats.
