Ain't That The Truth?

It kind of explains both the GOP strategy and talk radio all at once:

  1. And such selectively short memories. They remember the good old days, but can't remember what they thought was so important a month ago.

  2. What do you mean? Isnt this "what democracy looks llike"? That freedom of speech sure gets in the way once in a while doesnt it?

  3. Freedom of speech is just fine. I do not think that talk show hosts who blatantly lie are exercising free speech, they are just lying.

  4. Anom,
I know Cap likes to single out Charlie and I really dont listen to him, but as for the others, they seem to point out quite a few issues that the JS deems "not news worthy". My mother taught me that not telling the whole truth is the same as lying (something they seemingly unteach in journalism classes), if thats the gauge you use then most media outlets lie. Radio is usefull to counter the censorship we have slowly been subjected to over the decades by the print and TV media. We should all keep our minds open to different points of view and question our own motives from time to time.

  5. Notice how this article was buried in the paper? I heard about it on the radio, otherwise I may have never found it. Instead it made a "news and opinion" blog online. Apparently it isnt news. I hope every recall cheater is worried today. Unless maybe he is the only crooked petitioner.
Seems this is far more serious than what Wink is accused of, yet, there is no outrage from this site.
