The gentle reader might remember Joanne Staudacher.
Joanne is the woman who wrote the famous and fabulous manifesto "Why I Fight For Workers Rights in Wisconsin." This launched Joanne into rock star status when when she became the face for the #wiunion protester in Time Magazine's Person of the Year.
Joanne is now running for the 53rd District of State Assembly. She would make a great state representative and would work diligently to help restore Wisconsin to being a much better place.
But there is one thing. Joanne is too strong to admit it, but she could use some help. She is going to be a Mommy, and her pregnancy is slowing her down with collecting signatures so that she can be on the ballot.
She has help us a lot in the past fifteen months and now it's our turn to return the favor. I know that everyone is busy with the recall and stuff, but we cannot forget how important it is to take the Assembly as well. Joanne is one that would help us do that.
So, whether it's a couple hours of your time or whatever money you can spare, please help her out.
Her Facebook page is here. If you need to get a hold of her in a different way, drop me a line, and I'll see you get what you need to get in contact with her.
I thank you. And I'm sure Joanne thanks you. And Wisconsin will thank you too.
