The Walker Agenda Is Still Working! Part CXCI

Remember how Scott Walker said that he would steal all those jobs from Illinois because they raised taxes?  Remember how Blinky Kleefisch was making cold calls to companies in Illinois to beg them to come to Fitzwalkerstan?

Like everything else they do, they got it all backwards:

Owens & Minor Distribution Inc. will close its facility in the Dane County village of Waunakee, resulting in 70 lost jobs, according to a company letter to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.

Owens & Minor said it will consolidate operations to its location in Carol Stream, Ill.

The company said it plans to start eliminating the Waunakee jobs on Sept. 21, continuing in phases until the facility’s closure on Dec. 1.

The jobs include 65 hourly and five salaried positions. None of the affected employees have bumping rights but are encouraged to apply at other company locations.

Walker is already claiming this is another 2,356 jobs added.
