Madison -- Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus issued a strong statement in defense of Gov. Scott Walker ahead of his recall election.
There was just one problem -- he got the date wrong.
“So the only way to ensure government in Madison continues to serve the interests of the people—and our state continues to move in the right direction—is to vote for Gov. Walker on June 6," the statement reads.
The general election between Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett will be held on June 5.
You can say that it was an honest mistake but in reality the problem is, reince does not have the taxpayers of Wisconsin paying Darlene Wink and Kelly Rindfleisch , to keep events like this straight. So expect more blunders of this type, until they can find another way to have the taxpayers of Wisconsin pay for his secretary!

ReplyDeleteC'mon, maybe Reince *does* have the citizens of Wisconsin in his heart! I'd far prefer people vote for Walker on June 6th -- or try to -- than on June 5th! Wouldn't you?

ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't publicize this at all ... let his proclamation of a (wrong) election date circulate unchallenged. Most of the people paying attention to him are Republicans!
