I'm A Union Member

This kinda says it all, doesn't it?

  1. Why yes, if I ever become a hate filled individual I'll pony up. Right now my employer treats me like a valued member if the team.

    1. Until they can't meet quarterly expectations or make the dividend payments to private equity investors. Then you'll find - even if you hold a white collar job now - that someone in SE Asia or SE United States can actually do the job as well as you. Unless you're at the very top, it's not really in your interest to see unions fade. But I completely agree with you - it's been a positively brilliant strategy to convince the little people that destroying unions is somehow in their best interests.

    2. A businessman friend of mine who runs a food court restaurant in the mall struggled to justify paying $18,000/year to an assistant manager. He needed her because he was having trouble filling the position with someone reliable for $17,000/year. The assistant manager soon moved on to start her own pizza parlor. My friend still has trouble finding reliable people for $17,000/year. He blames the problem on how lazy today’s generation is.

    3. Good for the assistant manager! Ironic too, that someone who doubtless considers himself a free-market capitalist is so blind to the problem/solution.

  2. To Anonymous: Actually DON'T join a union. Union members are decent people who don't just sit back and live a life filled with HATRED for other folks who are different than yourself.

Keep up your HATRED for everyone else in Wisconsin. After all, it's the Walker Wisconsin Way.

  3. Tell that hot dog vendor in Detroit how decent union members are.
